Privacy Policy

The Short Version

epixtudio does not collect your data. Period.

What We Don't Collect

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No telemetry or crash reporting
• No personal information
• No browsing or usage patterns
• No file contents or metadata
• No hardware or software fingerprinting

What Stays on Your Machine

All of your data (graphs, settings, preferences, and anything you create) lives exclusively on your local device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

The One Network Connection

The only network activity epixtudio performs is an optional update check. This feature requires a valid license key (verified through Payhip) and must be explicitly enabled in settings. When active, the application may contact epixtudio.com to check if a newer version is available. This request contains:

• Your current application version
• Your operating system and architecture (e.g., "windows-x86_64")

That's it. No user identifier, no session token, no tracking cookie. The update check can be disabled at any time in settings, and the application functions identically with it off — true airgap operation with zero network activity.

Third-Party Services

epixtudio does not integrate with, transmit data to, or receive data from any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

xript Extensions

Custom xript extensions you install run in a sandboxed environment. They do not have direct network access unless you explicitly grant it. We cannot control the behavior of third-party xripts — review the source of any extension before installing it.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top and include the changes in the application's release notes. Given our philosophy, any change would only ever be toward less data collection, not more.
